EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) technical counselor, Justin Lee, and John Schoon, local EAA chapter 123 President came out and visited me and looked over the project. Greg Niehues, a fellow RV 9A builder, also came. We looked over the entire plane and I asked Justin a lot of questions. He, and the others looked over my work and they all seemed very positive. Justin wrote on the report above "craftsmanship looks great". We talked a lot about how I need to secure my hose and wire installations on the engine. We talked cowls, paint, wiring, avionics, builders logs, and FAA airworthiness inspections. After a while, they left to go look at Gregs project. I really felt good about their comments about the plane. I have not been around very many aviation people and it feels great to have someone look at my work!
